In a heartwarming event that took place on the 20th of September, 2023, a group of dedicated individuals embarked on a mission to make a difference in the lives of children in Lagos. With the goal of brightening the futures of young minds, they organized the “1000 GLOW In Lagos” charity initiative.
On this special day, the team started their journey by visiting Odeda Local Government School in Ilagbe, followed by a heartwarming visit to Mercy Heritage Nursery and Primary School, both located in Odeda, Abeokuta, Ogun State. Their mission extended beyond just providing food; they aimed to nurture vital critical thinking and social skills in these young learners.
As part of their outreach, the team generously distributed essential supplies, including writing materials, bibles, Bible books, water bottles, snacks, drinks, and school bags to the children in both the schools and the local slum areas. Their kindness and support extended not only to nourishing hungry stomachs but also to feeding hungry minds with knowledge and inspiration.
